Chopping out for sockets, you say?
Where do you get these socket-chopping blades?
And, for that matter, the others?
Thanks.
Once we move inside on a project, probably one of our most used tools. Sparky and plumbers' muti-tools are always buzzing away, on our sites. I can't imagine turning up for work without one, now.Won't be used a great deal, so don't want to spend Megabucks.
Dewalt are excellent with backwards compatibility so shouldn’t bd a problemThanks for the suggestions, fellas.
One for me to think about, although it's not as cheap as I was thinking!
A friend said , hey you have a cordless DeWalt drill/ driver. Why not get a bare multitool and use the batts/ charger you already have?
Is this compatible with the XR 18V batteries I already have? They are only 1.5Ah, so might not last long.

Fair play.It sounds like a great bit of kit and if I were still in the trade I'd probably go for it.
I have not long got home with the DeWalt thing and it looks OK. TS had a single socket cutter for it too, so I got that to try it out. I can use it to do doubles too.
Fair play.
I use mine all the time. I’m doing work at home too, it’s a god send really.
I hate woodwork
that would be interesting to know how it goes, as I have to cut some out in the next days / weeks 6 odd single / double boxesTS had a single socket cutter for it too, so I got that to try it out.
