The builder tells me the lv shaver socket/tooth brush charger cannot be sited where it can be reached when standing at the sink. Is this correct?
So in the show house they have sited over the bath! So you can stand up in a bath full of water and touch it.
What do the new regs say? Where should it be?

Thanks for that, but it does not answer the point about the hand basin and vicinity of the lv shaver socket. Unless I'm missing something as there is no hand basin or toilet bowl shown on the diagrams, both of which have water supplies as per a bath or shower.

The zones of a bathroom are governed by the vacinity of the bathtub or shower basin, not the handwash basin. As long as the shaver socket is suitable for the environment where it is installed it can go anywhere in zone 2 or beyond.
