I don't understand what you're attempting to prove, you're conflating a load of unrelated stuff.

We got the number of turkish people our govt allowed. If that was a higher number then that was/is down to whoever's in charge. We had the ability to control it, but the people in power chose not to.

As stated above, we're free to have whatever immigration policy we want to. But our leaders have been keen to increase it. Perhaps out of worry about the lack of EU immigration, possibly to teach the serfs a lesson for voting wrongly.
