So what does God do ?

Bottom line of all religions is: be good, don't do bad. So anyone will do.

Don't need religion for that. I can and do live a good life, without any god.

Of course there are extremists and manipulators who twist the religion teachings to make people do bad things or make money for themselves. They're not religious people and they will go to hell.

If, as a parent, you don't offer your children guidance, wisdom and discipline, and just let them do what they like, then it's a bit mean to cut them out of your will when they turn out to be disappointing adults.

Kids born with severe illnesses are a product of life on earth. Life is not perfect.

Think about it: no religion tells you to be bad. Doesn't make any difference what religion you profess or what you think God is. God is one and we created different religions. Practically we worship the same God in different ways and using different names to refer to him.

Heaven. Because unknowingly you've followed the rules of God to be a good person.

I'm sorry, but most of the stuff you are writing is just wrong. You can repent on your deathbed and go to heaven. You need to repent and follow Jesus Christ to get to heaven, you can't get there by being good alone. All according to the Christian bible of course.
