Especially if they have dementia, which is increasingly common as modern medicine stops us popping our clogs before it sets in.

Pete Falk was a case in point. Such a shame.

Another person who I thought went donkeys years ago but only went relatively recently was Reg Varney

As a side track - browsing through Wikip on On the Buses, I remember going to see Anna Karen ("Olive") in the play "Steaming" when I was at uni - which included her with her kit off. Think it scarred me for life .

Mind you, she's only 75 as indeed is Stephen Lewis (Blakey)
