Did Grandad on TOTP when he was 51....we all thought he was fit for the grave then, and it was only 1971.....!!

Pete Falk was a case in point. Such a shame.

Another person who I thought went donkeys years ago but only went relatively recently was Reg Varney
 
You could see Peter Falk was on the way in Columbo. How many times did he almost forget to ask the suspect a question as he walked away?

As a side track - browsing through Wikip on On the Buses, I remember going to see Anna Karen ("Olive") in the play "Steaming" when I was at uni - which included her with her kit off. Think it scarred me for life :lol: .

Mind you, she's only 75 as indeed is Stephen Lewis (Blakey)
 
Stephen Lewis (Blakey) The only actor I know that has made a career out of pulling a stupid face and saying "Doh!"....beats working.
