You may be good cat owners but most arent, they kick the thing out at night and think looking after a cat is just putting some milk and a tin of whiskers out.

Why is kicking a cat out at night cruel?

Milk is bad for cats, many are lactose-intolerant. Water is far better for them. Talking of which, tinned cat food is 70% water, but despite this, is bad for cat's kidneys.

Food like Hill's Science Diet is much better.

I, for one, don't think it is cruel...unless they really don't want to go out.
Mine are finicky eaters....
