PIR Information for the consumer/client

Hello

Im a qualified Sparks who has been approached to carry out a variety of PIRs they can be domestic and commercial, however the client would like some info on the PIRs to sell to his clients for insurance purposes

what i would like is a document that explains in simple and non jargon terms what a PIR is and why we need them etc - i could tell him or type it out but id rather have a decent document etc etc

This is a best practise guide from the Electrical Safety Council. Its aimed at the engineer but the first 3 pages give a good overview.

looking at the on site guides schedule of test results, there's boxes for instruments. does this want the model of instruments used of a reference to the calibration?
