Police Cuts, Crime Up

Not at all. Welfare reduces crime. That's a fact. Crime costs society more than policing.

The police are also gaving to pick up the result of social service cuts........which inevitably land at their door.

Same thing with AE.

Isn't knife crime confined to a certain demographic, maybe that is were the police should be targeting their resources.
When you have a police force led by Cressida Dick who blames the violence on Facebook and Twitter nothing is going to change anytime time soon.

Yes, knife crime almost entirely males under 30. Pretty sure the police have all the resources at their disposal on it.

Would it not be better to understand and disrupt the reason for the knife crime? And as I understand it, it is probably caused by a different demographic to what you are implying.

There is cause and effect. Reasons and actions.

Otherwise it is like aresting somebody after they stab someone, rather than stopping the person having the knife in that situation in the 1st place. Probably why she finds social media an important part of the overall problem.

But just focus on headlines, it is easier.

20'000 coppers cut since 2010 since the Torys winning...coming to power. Crime increases....hugely. its not fooking rocket science is it to see why crime is rising!

What did she expect when they cut 20'000 coppers? That criminals would say "ah well, better pack in this life of crime, not fair on the coppers now that they are thousands fewer of them about.........or did they rub their hands with glee and think "oh less coppers, our lives just got easier yeeees!"

Perhaps the UK should seek advice from that bloke in the Phillipines ?

Dare say his police force also run down moped theives ;)

I spoke to a criminal (not through choice) and he literally said that the no police can do nothing to stop him - criminals obviously know that police are stretched and know that they probably won't be caught, and if they're not caught, very unlikely any investigation will lead back to them. Thieves in Essex don't even bother covering their faces these days.

is rice-pudd a leftie? Cameron? Gove? May? Buffoon?

Simplistic

perhaps dum agrees with theresa, that police numbers have no effect on crime.

funny thing is, she's now boasting that she will increase them.

in, out, in, out, shake it all about.
