Hi everyone,

I moved to a new house and this is the first winter in the new house. I've just checked all the radiators and seems some of it were fitted in wrong way.
I check the pipe thought lockshield valves and TRVs, and found that it's much hotter with the lockshield valves. Some radiators valves are cross-head valves for both lockshield and TRVs, it's hard to firgure out what is TRV.

The radiators are still hot when heating running. Should I swap the valves, and replace the cross-head valves with TRV?

A lot of current TRV's are bi directional so work either way .
As long as they are controlling room temperature as they are, leave alone.
Or if your pedantic swap them!

Thank you, is it effect to the radiator balancing or just make it a little more difficult to do it?

you balance the radiator using the lockshield valve not the TRV

I don’t think you need worry as the radiators will stil work. A few years ago I had two standard radiators in my bathrooms swapped with towel radiators, on one radiator the plumber installed the lockshield on the flow and on the other radiator he didn’t install a lockshield at all! When I found out a few weeks later he refused to put it right unless I paid him for his time.
