Soil pipe & flexible ducting leak

Ok so im now concerned the soil pipe vent isnt high enough on the gable wall now after looking at some others.

How high should it be??

The connector will prob be normal type im guessing so would need to use solvent weld to fit the first connect to it?

What size pipe would this be?

If the bend in the picture has the flexi pipe stuffed into it and secured with the tape, remove it and see what you've got. Provided the rubber seal is still in place, you can come off that with a suitable bend, (just lubricate the seal and the end of the spigot on the new section and push it home). Then carry on to your chosen exit point. You dont need to glue anything other than perhaps the cage on the end of the vent pipe, and any bends externally that could move in the wind.

It's standard 110mm soil pipe.

Push fit is easy enough to work with. Just make sure you chamfer any cut edges off at 45deg before trying to make a joint, or you'll dislodge the rubber seal, (and the fitting will then probably be scrap), and make sure all pipework is adequately supported.

Should i include a rodding point?

No need really, if there are any blockages that you need to access from the loft you can just dismantle a joint. The building regs require all sections to be possible to clear blockages, but in reality I'm not sure how many blockages are cleared from in the loft!
