Travelling to Paris

Paris is in France, and thus contains French people, was this not fully explained to her?

Went with the wife and daughter in September, no issues and didn't see any signs of any trouble.

Paris is a bit of a sh1thole. But the crime on the street isn’t as bad as places like Madrid or Barcelona.

You are more at risk of getting ripped off than mugged.

The right parts of Paris are fantastic but all of Europe is at risk from nutters

This kid is acting as if this is all new.

The French have always been very quick to let their government know if they are unhappy. And they don't mince their words, or their actions.

French farmers protested about cheap imports of British lamb in the 80s and 90s and set fire to shipments of it.

There were similar protests over shipments of milk.

Anything they feel unhappy with, they protest long and hard and the government generally caves.

We could learn a thing or two from them!

BTW, we went to Paris in April to see No 1 son run the Marathon and we never saw any trouble.
