Water leak on incoming mains from water meter to inside property?

They came out today.

I did not know the boy who came to job but knew the owners and few of the boys who work there.

He stated it's lead pipe just by the sound and it's outside 100% (Welsh Water fold tenant it was definitely in the kitchen and a big job, I have the report and their list of contractors to do it).

Anyone he stated by the sound he could say it was lead.
Aslo
No point me lifting slabs etc as i wont save anything.

Cash deal agreed and getting it booked in asap.

Thanks for replies. Much appreciated.

Once done I can fit a new bathroom etc

Bit confusing that post!

So, you're getting them to mole a new main in, in mdpe? Or are they digging a trench?

I'm a Gas Safe plumber, heating engineer and drainage guy by the way, so I know what's what :)

That's my eyesight and trying to type to fast in my mobile mate.

No mole.

They will inspect the leaking lead pipe.
They found the isolator inside.
Then pressure test.

But they have done several in the same area/streets and they all seem to be in the same place and it's normally just a simple connection coupler.

Most of my mates are in trade.

Just having several CP12s done.

Same thing every year pal.

Get rid of the lead.
