Just had some leftover stew that was sat in the freezer for a while. When I say stew, it was just pearl barley with carrots and onions. Went down a treat. Now having a mug of tea to wash it down.

Just been to the café for lunch. I had egg and chips, so simple yet so satisfying.

All I have eaten this week is deep fried spring rolls that have been in the freezer for about 4 years. Oh and equally old pigs in blankets, again, deep fried.

Aujourd'hui, je vais préparer un œuf au plat sur une tranche de pain frais et croustillant maison, légèrement beurrée et tartinée de Marmite. Une tasse de thé accompagnera ce dessert, accompagné d'un roulé bien garni.
