Mines currently up on axle stands having a bit more of a mini resto, its not rally spec, but a lot better than standard with coilover struts/ rear disks, Lsd, 4.4 crown wheel and pinion. 4 pot callipers etc, and engine is 2.1 twin 45's kent cam, lightened fly wheel and rolling road @ 160 bhp at the wheels, which is loads of fun in a reasonably light car with back wheel drive and an lsd with 4.4, does only about 100 flat out with a 4.4, but 0-60mph is about 6 secs not bad for 32 years old!

lol I don't mean Im 32 years old, my car is!!! 1976 on an R plate, I never done the quarter, I hope if I get her back on the road for this season to go to run what you bring up santa pod, with a bit more tweaks, and another rolling road I hope to get the bhp up a little this year, Im not interested in top end (loose your licence and being in a 32 year old bean tin doesn't do anything for confidence!) I may got to a 4.6 cwp for more acceleration, more fun
Rally escorts use up to 5.6 cwp,! where flat out speed is not necessary

Breaking thread slighty, RGi friend of mine owned an RS2000 from new, he collected it from factory, only had 60.000 on clock. Some dirty stinking toe rag busted into his garage and nicked it couple of weeks ago. Not modified, all original.

My fishing has been successfull at times. 36lb pike. 26 lb Carp. 3 lb Roach and a slab just into double figures.
