a very sad reflection :(

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.
Then they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
I did not protest;
I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
I did not speak out;
I was not a Jew.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out for me.

6% of the vote :confused: so who is kidding who :confused: 65millon people in uk .so that would mean 3.9 millon people share there viwe , and want change :eek: , but what is it they want changed :?:

For sure, there are a small percentage who are neo-Nazis (Combat 18), just the same as there's a small percentage of Muslims who are jihadis. But, the fact is, it's a democracy and they are a legal party: they've got some reaso policies and some daft ones, just like all the others.

The mainstreams should look at themselves to find the reason why people have voted BNP: if they got their acts together, stopped treating the electorate with contempt or made people feel impotent in their own country, people wouldn't feel the need to either abstain from voting, or vote for a more extreme party.

A minority of radical thinkers can never be viewed as sane in any walk of life.
To persecute people because they have a different skin colour or have a different religion is against my views (but that does not mean I am right).
There are many thing we all would say and do if it were not for the huge worry of being ostracised of banged up in prison.
Most people try to talk like others so they can be accepted, earn money, raise a family etc.
The BNP is reaction by some of white Britain to feeling marginalized and second class to people who were never even born here, but seem to possess more rights!
Although I guess its the feral underclass that put a tick in the BNP's box.

Death to liberals I say, they are the cause of this! ;)

The point is that they feel "marginalized and second class" to everyone on the planet, probably including themselves, since they have neither the confidence nor wit to expand their abilities to encompass all comers into the immediate world around them. And, therefore, they self-fulfill this "marginalized and second class" prophecy.

Instead of stereotyping people as thick nazis ect. we should be trying to analyse why people who voted Labour all their lives are now turning to the BNP,

Only in as much as any march must start with a step. :LOL:

I'm just beginning to understand the European Parliament myself and it's a very mixed bag. This is inevitable when you consider that each EU member state has its own political parties and any or all of them could win one or more seats. The whole thing bears more resemblance to the United Nations than the House of Commons. This is not a bad thing. I certainly wouldn't want any single party taking over Europe. :eek: :eek: :eek:

The European Parliament appears to consist of a multitude of loose alliances between the various parties and there are many independents too. The BNP now have one squeaky little voice in among this lot and it'll be interesting to see whether anybody else will have anything to do with them.

The problem is that the three main parties in the UK are all in favour of Europe and high immigration and anyone that doesn't agree with that has no choice but to vote for a fringe minority party. If the Labour Party took on the saner views of the fringe groups then they'd be in a real position to hang on to power. As it is they are all vying for the centre policies that should be the natural stomping grounds of the Liberals.

A good question - maybe they just like the idea of having a totalitarian state, regardless whether it's left or right wing. They want to be controlled (the "nanny state" is too much like hen pecking and not enough authority). It's all symptomatic of the same character flaw.
