has your chum Fergie admitted he was wrong about Trump yet?

hahahahaha!

You can't trust someone who pens attention-seeking garbage for the Mail.

"Trump election
On the rise of Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump, Ferguson was quoted in early 2016: "If you bother to read some of the serious analysis of Trump’s support, you realize that it’s a very fragile thing and highly unlikely to deliver what he needs in the crucial first phase of the primaries. ... By the time we get to March-April, it’s all over. I think there’s going to be a wonderful catharsis, I’m really looking forward to it: Trump’s humiliation. Bring it on.” [70] Trump eventually won the nomination.

Three weeks before the
2016 United States presidential election, Ferguson said in an interview that it "was over for Donald Trump"; that "Trump had flamed out in all three Presidential debates"; that, "I don't think there can be any last minute surprise to rescue him [Trump]"; that there was no hope of Donald Trump winning Independent voters and that Trump was, "gone as a candidate" adding that, "it seems to me clear that she [Hillary Clinton] is going to be the first female President of the United States. The only question is how bad does his [Trump's] flaming out affect candidates for the Senate, candidates for the House, further down on the ballot." [71] Trump was elected president and the Republican Party, while losing seats, retained control of both houses of Congress."

The man's just a self-publicising buffoon. I can see why he's popular with Quitters.

Later in 2012, after Ferguson wrote a cover story for Newsweek arguing that Mitt Romney should be elected in the upcoming US presidential election, Krugman wrote that there were multiple errors and misrepresentations in the story, concluding "We're not talking about ideology or even economic analysis here – just a plain misrepresentation of the facts, with an august publication letting itself be used to misinform readers. The Times would require an abject correction if something like that slipped through. Will Newsweek?"[81] Ferguson denied that he had misrepresented the facts in an online rebuttal.[82] Matthew O'Brien countered that Ferguson was still distorting the meaning of the Congressional Budget Office report being discussed, and that the entire piece could be read as an effort to deceive.[83]

Is there no end to Ferguson's casual lies and his reverse gear? He changed his mind (or at least his words) about Keynes, in response to the public reaction to his homophobic slur.

AFAIK he hasn't yet retracted his remark about Obama and Felix the cat both being black, and both being lucky.

Though he has claimed to be unprejudiced.

The evidence suggests otherwise.

Just the sort of person Roger and his specialist websites admire, eh?

Obviously sticks in your craw then boyo.
"inexplicably changed his mind........"
I'm sure if the publicity and money are right, he will likely have another inexplicable mind change in the future.(y)
You are very gullible Rog. Prime example of an RWR.

Popular with Roger The Quitter, though

Why didn't you wheel out Niall Cambell Ferguson? The Harvard university professor and research fellow of Jesus college, University of Oxford, and senior fellow of the hoover institution ,stanford university and visiting professor at the new college of the humanities once named as one of the most influential people in the world???

I had one tenant that lost her job, and kept insisting that she couldn't get the housing benefit sorted out because the boss wouldn't give her a P45. I eventually found out that she'd decided that she was better off not telling the Inland revenue that she'd lost her job, so that she could keep on claiming working families tax credits. She was on anti depressants because of all the lies she was weaving to keep up her lifestyle. She eventually left because of the Bailiffs chasing her, but when I cleared the flat out, she screamed blue murder at me because she felt she had the right to keep 2 flats going, so she could move her furniture from one place to the other at her leisure. She left a whole load of correspondence showing all the money she owed, she even stiffed the nursery that looked after her 4 year old.

Your story doesn't make sense. The employer issues a P45 to the leaving employee, and also to HMRC.

When I have changed jobs, I have never needed to send my P45 to HMRC.

You should have a pop at telling the truth, you may find it refreshing.

Its your buddies jd, dougan etc who likes telling the porkies.. and of course your buddy ferguson.

Whilst she was working 16 hours a week, she was entitled to working families tax credit, but when she was fired, she was required to inform HMRC of a change of circumstances, and then she's have lost it and gone back to just basic unemployment benefit, but she'd then have been entitled to housing benefit at a higher rate, so I'd have got the rent. All the time she fobbed me off, she was raking it in from the working families bit.

Your P45 only gets passed on to the next employer so they can work out your tax, which goes to pay for the working families tax credits.

your buddy ferguson.
I see Roger is backing away from admiring his crooked buddy ferguson, now that's he's see the crook has been so widely exposed.
