Banned from being sung by Royal British Legion members in case people attending the service may not be Christian???

WTF?

It's not like those attending are being forced to sing.
I am not Christian, but it does not stop me attending Church services and singing hymns. And I am not offended. Neither was I offended when, attending my Quaker boarding school, I had to go to morning and evening services on Sundays and sing hymns.
Nor when joining Cubs aged 8, when I was asked to promise to do my duty to God and the Queen.

That is one of the reasons why this country is totally tucked. And it won't be getting any better.

To think that those old and young boys fought for that and all the other crap that goes on.

Thats like Councils referring to Christmas as Winterval :)

Ironic since early christians hijacted the 25th December to celebrate the birth of Jesus from the pagans

It's one vicar who has banned, not all churches, and you complain about over sensitive people.

yep more nonsense to placate a vocal minority , ban a hymn :)

next we will have to have some form of sharia law so as we do not upset the Islamic community, stop eating beef so as we do not up set the Hindu community. make a change to the law for rastafarians so that they can smoke a spliff in public.

Budhist's f knows but there must be some thing we can do ? :)

Himmy will be along shortly to explain your fear and hate of foreigners ;)

A devout Christian was thrown off of a Sheffield university social work course as a result of being accused of derogatory comments on line about
homosexuals.

The student said he was lawfully expressing a traditional Christian view ? and complained and took the case to the high court. He lost the case.

Officials at the Christian legal centre who backed the student in his high court case said that the ruling was wrong and stated

" The court has ruled that although the student is entitled to hold his biblical views on sexual ethics , he is not entitled to express them"
