There's this wonderful invention called google. It's got a wealth of information at your fingertips, granted, have to sift though some crud but it's pretty amazing. You should try it, instead of dissing using one of the best inventions in a very very long time just because someone doesn't have the same political view as you.

In your desperate search to try and find something, if you'd read just a few posts before, you'd have seen I wrote this about 'Spoons.

"I don't know what the problem is. Weatherspoons have a broad clientele, I no longer live near one but when I did I'd occasionally pop into one for a cheap lunch - cheap and cheerful veggie burger. My old neighbours used to go in on pension day and treat themselves to an affordable lunch too, was a good way to get out the house, a group of 4 widowers would get together. The violence reduction unit in Glasgow did used stop and search but it was only a part of their methods (ie agrees with what I said earlier).

The only time I ever got banged up was for an assault on two lads when I was younger.

I actually tried to help these lads out, from getting a beating from some lads I knew....

They scarpered. The police picked me up on my way home.... Because I fitted the description... After being in the cell for a few hours. One of the victims told the police it was not me.... The police let me go with a warning that if they picked me up again I'd be charged with this offence....

During the IRA campaign in the 70s and 80s people from Ireland were routinely stopped and questioned at Airports and seaports.
Since the IRA ceasefire all the above has stopped.

I work in an area of East London and deal exclusively with school age students either in care, ex offenders or those at risk of offending so I have a good knowledge of what the **** I’m talking about. Where are you getting your experience from?

I'll help with the Arab comment. I remember it well and the search engine worked just fine.

WTF are you on about? I just commented on the fact that Covent Garden was overrun with Arabs on the night I was there. I also explained why they were there.

So do I. That was a statement of fact as was the Romanian pickpockets. I didn’t question those, I was questioning the three quotes that Notch made up. Now use the search engine to find the three I’m asking about and feel free to get back to me.
