You then need to factor in we have a lower number of ICU beds per head of population so when other countries are also waiting for extra ventilators they already have more capacity per head of population than we do so for them they issue is not as acute.

Nope, no experience. So, I prefer to get data from the people and bodies that ACTUALLY know, not from some random journo who you seem to consider an authority on the subject.

So tell me what are the figures. Did you even read what was written.

On March 31, the minister for the Cabinet Office Michael Gove announced that the first batch of the adapted Penlon ventilators would be rolling off production lines by April 5, and would be ready for hospitals to use this week. But Gove’s announcement was only half the story, as it later emerged that the first batch amounted to only 30 ventilators.

Thats accurate. The BBC quoted that.

So tell me what parts of that article are incorrect and I will contact them to correct it. Do your bit then.
