Does anybody think a 3rd spike is likely?

The second spike is all the rage among the doomsayers currently, but aren't they being a little short-sighted in their doom-mongering? After the second splke will there be a third, and even if it ends will there be another virus next year or the year after that causing another curfew? Is this nonsense ever going to go away?

Nonsense it is to be sure. When will the pubs reopen? When can we go to Screwfix again without standing outside in the rain first? When can we visit our distant relatives again? When can we have sex with someone from a different household again? Please reply all you great scientific minds

Lets take one step at a time and see if we get a second spike first. (I'm in no doubt we will, given all these idiots protesting at the death of someone thousands of miles away but meekly obeying when one of their relatives/friends were buried).

It is what it is, but it doesn't help when governments/advisors give ambiguous or conflicting advice.

Que sera, sera as the song goes.

Next flu season is likely to be carnage in the hospitals. Better not disassemble the Nightingales until well into 2021?

Until there is a vaccine they're will be many spikes. This started with one person catching it. In 5 months it has killed 400,000 people. There are now hundreds of thousands of people with it, ready to infect the weak.

It will either carry on slowly spreading in lockdown, or lockdown ends and we get more cases in spikes.

I dont want to be killed by a spike.

Being killed by a peak sounds less painful

Ah yes, I remember you saying the same thing about the Cheltenham Festival. 150,000 people. Packed like sardines.

Oooops no, my mistake, I don't

But they were overwhelmingly white, so don't spread disease.

Or do they?

No. I'm trying to understand your position. You condemned in strongest terms the race meeting which occurred before we went into lockdown where, in your words, people were packed together like sardines. I've not seen you condemn the mass gatherings over the last two weekends which occurred during lockdown where people were also packed together like sardines. So, do you condemn those too? I've answered your question. Perhaps you'd do me the courtesy of answering mine. A simple yes or no will be fine.

he wont answer  party members (?) always avade or try and weasle out of any given situation

tis who they are and what they do

logic dictates that if one condemns Cheltenham than one would codemn this protest caper .

party members ;) and logic do not go hand in hand

Actually, I criticised the government for letting it go ahead. Very foolish and uncaring of them.

Our government has consistently been slow to act. Incompetence? Or they don't care? Which is it?
