Nice one Ian, you must be proud.

I actually cried like a baby. I wouldn’t normally but I’d had something else done at the house and had 4 days of absolute rage that I couldn’t let go. When she phoned with the good news I just let it all go. Very strange :cry:

Congratulations to your daughter Ian.
You have every reason to be proud.

Pleased would be an understatement :)

She was expecting a 2:1 but ended up 6 points above the mark for a 1st.

Great day, reminded me of my time at Cambridge.

Well that's your retirement plans sorted out, you need to get those super comfy slippers ordered, ready.

On a more serious note, it's great your daughter has done a proper vocational degree, not Meejia studies.

I did an orangery for an accountant 3 years ago, she had her own accountancy firm, massive house and she drove a Porsche Carrera. I seem to recall her clients were mostly offshore.

My Dad was an accountant -financial director. I did bookkeeping course, but found it boring, I'm more interested in hands on not papershuffling.

I spent a lot of time at Cambridge, I had a girlfriend who went to Fitzwilliam college, Cambridge. It's certainly steeped in tradition, those formal dinners, 'the quad', etc etc it all goes on. It's all a bit Harry Potter.
