In every party of the uk cases have risen in the last couple of weeks. They all have had different rules in place. The one thing in common.... Schools opened.

Sometimes things are ****. It's better to be honest about it than pretend everything is the best of all things and the best it can possibly be.
Well, being part of the UNHCR resettlement scheme and doing well is something to be proud about, rightly so.
Can we not just enjoy something good for a moment?!

Yeah. Some scientist (I think) said just before schools reopened that sacrifices will have to be made in other sectors, like pubs, to allow those kids to go back to school. Fair enough - kids need an education, nobody needs to get ratted *. Can do that at home anyway!

*Nothing to do with living next to a ****tish pub landlord, honest

Some people see negatives in every situation. It has never even entered his head to think “hold on, our country is doing more than nearly every other country in the world in the UN refugee resettlement program” Sad really.

Walking to the car after formal training with my second - born, he said that he'd noticed the correlation between going back to school, and an increase in the lurgy (and associated tightening of restrictions).

He also is quite keen on not going to school, so would be happy for them to close again.

I made the contrary point to him that, when you get older, one year is very much like the next, so I could realistically put up with this for a year or two without great hardship.

However, taking away two or three years from a teenager would be a huge deal, and life experience missed out on.

Isn't whitty calling for tougher lockdowns and measures right now?
Just to stop a few ole codgers from keeling over.

whitty and vallance are the new dooms mongers.
The scamdemic rolls on.

Look. Basically, if everyone just wore masks when they should it would make a massive difference. Some people just think about themselves & not the vulnerable or strain on services. Ignorant & arrogant.

I see it both ways. The elderly are suffering but also my son turned 17 in May. When I look back to my 17th birthday (1988) it just doesn’t compare.
I really feel for the teenagers at the moment (& fear that things won’t return to normality)
