The SNP have got themselves a nice little excuse re having another referendum with their 'if there's a material change' line. Almost anything in politics can be spun as a material change. I'm Scottish, living in Scotland, and voted no last time and would do so again. The thing is, at present we have no credible opposition up here in terms of securing enough votes to ensure a change of government.

Would I be right in saying that even those wanting to stay part of the union would vote SNP but not for independence?

I never realised this until the 90's. Chelsea were playing Everton at Goodison Park.
We walked into a pub full of Everton fans. We felt it wasn't a good idea to have a drink. So not as to look as if we were scared I went to the other bar to go to the toilet. It was full of Glasgow Rangers fans down to watch Chelsea with all their Union flags & pictures of the queen pinned to the walls and hang from the ceiling.

Rangers were playing on the Sunday so about 1500 come down to Liverpool for the game. I've never seen so much passion for being British.

Juts how fillyboy deduces that NS tried to conceal allegations of sexual assault is difficult to justify. But than most of fillyboy's deductions are difficult to justify.
