This cancel culture has caused problems for the Bacup Coconutters morris dance group, because they all traditionally work black face makeup people are cla9iming they were racist and trying to stop them.
Yet they were talking a load of cobblywocks because the blackfaces were because it's born out of coal mining.
Anyhoo, don't want to wander the thread into one about morris dancing lol.
So, what have GBnews said or done thats so bad for them to cancel the advertising?

It's not very polished and they're having a few technical difficulties.
Oh. and some people appear to be concerned they might say something right wing, they haven't so far, but you can't be too careful.

We don't need GB news or another left centric news channel to balance things out.
This idea that news requires balanced opinions is a pernicious concept - we require the news to report th facts.
If there is something we need more of - its more investigative jouralism to inform us not to fill us with more opinions.

Oddly enough, as we 'speak' they're talking to Nick Wallis, investigative journalist who uncovered the Post Office scandal (sub postmasters). The afternoon presenters I've seen are not good, this 'bird' who came on at 6 is better. I quite like the magazine format and having people phone in with opinions which makes it more interactive.
I havn't looked at their schedule yet but I want to see a daily news roundup, like news at ten.
OK the Man himself is on at 8, I've a film to watch (the crying game) so can only give him 10 minutes.

Hadn't seen it for nearly thirty years then it popped up on telly a month back but only caught a short bit so ordered it in HMV. As you say, great film.
...is just a phrase. Latest buzzwords to be weaponised. Like adding 'brigade' to stuff or blabbing the words 'mass immigration' and the like. It puts colour in the cheeks of the gullible.
Buzzwords - favoured by The Wail (news outlet for dumb people) and D Trump (dumb as a brick).
