Half watched the celebrations on telly down the pub tonight, will try and listen to Wills and Charles speaches in more detail tomorrow but in general, I got a warm feeling from it, she's done a great job over the years, she's not got long to go, but thank you your Majesty, you've done a great job. Absolutely right!

When Her Maj is gone, who could possibly command the same respect?

Who could possibly stop Buckingham Palace (and the other palaces and Crown lands) from being sold to the highest bidder and turned into housing for foreigners?

The warm feeling was from the 8 pints of cider

Well, ok, but I struggle to remember anything she actually DID for the country apart from be jolly splendidly nice. Some of the rest of the family have been notable in their efforts.

We know you're not nice, but you're such pitiably small beer, that you don't matter. I use the same excuse

Yes she was good at being nice. It does help having a ton of money ;) , though as the Sultan of Brunei has shown us, it's not a given.

Probably thousands of reasons, I don't recall any overseas visitors who have stayed with me stating they went to London because of the Queen

I put the TV and ended up watching it, and despite being rather ambivalent about the monarchy, I thought the evening Concert thingie with the amazing light show and imagery on Bucks palace was incredible.

It will be a whole different ball game when she’s gone , and would have been a lot worse without her.
That doesn’t mean i’ve watched a single second of it.
