This issue is brilliant - it keeps the important issues off peoples minds and keeps them distracted.
People coming over is an issue but there are far bigger problems but as long as people tie the people coming over as the be all and end all of their problems nothing will be resolved.
The tories don't want this resolved it would mean they would have to start to make policies that work - better keep people angry and distracted - look at the views on here.

It's a red hot issue which the Government even after failing miserably at everything can bring it up to rally the voters. If you vote for party X and not us they will let these people in. Works everytime.
If you ask them why they have failed they will blame lawyers, judges etc this is exactly what the Nazis used in their rise to power the stab-in-the-back-myth ie Dolchstoßlegende.

Yes they have, me. I have pointed out umpteen times that we take immigrants in a completely uncontrolled and unlimited way, if that's what you mean by wily nily (that's not what wily-nily means actually, but that's another matter). There is never a plan for a limit on the numbers admitted; how long they are to stay; what we will spend on them; what kind of people they are or where they are to stay. This latter is only ever "planned" after the fact, as we are doing now by requisitioning hotels.
Speaking of requisitioning hotels, if the numbers of immigrants continue to rise as they are, and our Government and the loony left continue to pander to them, we will end up being kicked out of our houses for them. Renting tenants will be first. Don't believe me? It's happening in Switzerland:
