Whilst it is true that nobody has a right to not be offended, I think that people do have a right to expect to be treated civilly and with respect when those things do not come at a cost to others.

The thing is though that that's the imaginary world you've constructed in your head, not the real one, and no force of will, no denials, no prejudice, no bigotry, no expressions of fear and loathing will turn the latter into the former.

Both homosexuality and gender incongruence seem to be connected to genes but there’s no complete scientific proof.

I find it almost impossible to get my head around, the thought of driving to the hospital to have the op.

But my understanding is that those who feel they are a different gender to their biological sex can’t help it, it’s how they are.

They genuinely feel what they feel, it’s not a mental health illness although not surprisingly such anguish it does lead to mental illness.


Life is hard enough just being a boring bloke whose gender matches biological sex, I feel sorry for people who don’t.

You wouldn't have to "feel sorry" for them if they weren't subjected to the bigotry of a lot of the people we see here.

The Hippodrome theatre in Birmingham the toilets are mixed its ridiculous, you walk in the women are confused the men are confused....whatever next.

I guess what's next is more and more people losing their confusion, probably at a rate proportional to their intelligence.
