Misogyny and Misandry have nothing to do with sex of the person holding the view.

hmmm seeing as misogyny is the hatred of women and women have been now clearly defined as born with female sex organs it would appear to have a lot to do with the sex of a person.

Women can hate other women though.

IMHO:
Huge amount of rubbish in this thread.
Everyone has their own experience, and nobody else's.
Whether or not you think all people possibly including yourself, are 100% heterosexual, you need to recognise that a large % of the people think that is untrue.
Many men at least, shy away from "believing" that anything other than the 100% position might exist, in case someone questions them and they have to give their own number. They're idiots on a flat-earther level.

Most of those born male have a mentality which matches, but the common view is that there's a spectrum.
Anyone who feels they got the wrong body at birth because their mentality is so opposite, is unfortunate. Like someone who's 1m tall. So you're Trans.
There will be situations where the world doesn't accommodate you. Tough. Life is not fair.
You should/may not be rejected by enlightened authorities, though individuals will do so.
So - you have to try not to cause trouble.

Where a line has to be drawn, the rights of the majority override the rights of the few.
For example only those with women's bodies can enter a women's sprint race.

To me, if you're born physically as an X, you're always an X, even if you have bits added or taken away and adjust your hormones.
You can call yourself a Trans-X. This is the opposite of what we have now. If you go from Paul to Paula, you would be a Trans Man.
You use male toilets, enter men's races, because using women's facilities would cause mass offence.
If you go from Paula to Paul, you are a Trans Woman. You have to use men's facililties because to do otherwise would cause offence (to women).
Yes that's unfair to men, but men have the unfortunate condition of being born frightening.

Prisons get complicated. Case by case, and depending what's available. More reason to keep yourself out of them.

Common sense prevails in the courts...
No - what prevailed in the court was the courts decision on what the law actually says.

The court did not comment on whether the law is right, or scientifically correct.

That their ruling means that later legislation conflicts with earlier does not necessarily mean that the later is wrong, it could also mean that the earlier needs to be revised.

There are genuine and justified concerns about how to deal with trans people in the context of same-sex spaces such as prisons, hospital wards, domestic violence refuges, and how to ensure fairness in sport, for example, but that those concerns can’t be addressed by pretending that there are no trans people.

Transgender has always existed.

You seem to think if it’s not talked about it wont exist.
Parallels can be drawn with how unwilling people used to be to talk about their homosexuality. And how unwilling some still are.

People saying it shouldn't be talked about, or even mentioned in the presence of children are just like those in previous generations said that homosexuality shouldn’t be talked about.

Think about previous government attempts to impose ideological constraints on what could be talked about in school (e.g S.28) and how much good that did to affect the reality of whether people were or were not homosexual.

And no, I'm not in any way trying to make any link between homosexuality and transgenderism, it's just that the parallels on how different people think that things they don't like should be dealt with are quite striking.

Some people genuinely do not understand the non-binary nature of "biological sex", nor the intersection of that fact and sometimes shifting gender identifications.

And some of those people are the type who are scared by things they don't understand, or have such limited intellects that they think anything they don't understand must be rubbish, and as you say, act as if pretending it doesn't exist will make it go away.

It won't, any more than homosexuality went away when society tried to pretend it didn't exist, or tried to make it illegal, or tried to make it illegal to talk about it.
