7000 years ago the climate stabilised and sea level rise slowed.

Sea level has been holding largely steady for the last 2000 yesrs

Sea level is now on the rise again rising faster than it has done in the last 6000 years

Here is something I wasn't aware of. Apparently, ten years ago, they established for the first time with direct observations that the increase in CO2 in the atmosphere was causing the earth's surface to warm. I love the comment at the end of the article:

Just because some Christians advocate what is common and helpful human behaviour, does not cause that behaviour to be exclusively "Christian."

The people who make up religious rules just copy what is common in their society. Sometimes it is rules about what you wear. And people who claim to follow religious rules pick and choose which ones to follow.
