Watch the following. These people seem to be perfectly fine with books containing explicit content being available to children?!?

Just the militant, progressive wing of the anything goes liberal movement. All professional anarchists and arsey trouble makers.
I couldn't believe what I was watching i.e. the content of what they were reading out, and then to assert it's fine for kids to have access to this stuff.

Twisted and perverse comes to mind.

OMG

But it's not clear from the video how these books were actually used in practice and what age groups etc.

Define children.

There aren't many (any?) generally available books I'd ban 16 year olds from reading.

Which books is this person reading from?

Just another symptom of National decline.
'Sex education' an excuse for adults to talk dirty to children.
I remember the importers of Swedish sex films tried to get around the censor by claiming the films weren't pornographic they were eductional.

1. Watch the video.

And even if you consider it fake news, follow step 2.

2. Read this: https://www.city-journal.org/article/have-you-looked-inside-any-of-these-books
Yeah, so with the exception of the character who fantasies about BDSM, which we only have out of context (do the other characters then say 'thats pretty ****ed up?'), none of that induces a moral panic.

For back story some of those books have been on reading lists for 12+ and have since been removed or moved to older groups.

Do you know how explicit sexual descriptions get in teenage reading content? This isn't notably different, except it covers LGBT content which we know makes some people uncomfortable.

You'd get on well with those in the video ...

You don't have kids - right?

Are you aware of what they view on their phones?

Are you aware of selfie videos they send to one another via their phones?

I'm guessing you haven't the first clue what goes on.

By age 13 half of all children have already seen pornography.

Having books that explain sexual relationships in explicit, but healthy, ways is an important counterweight.

People who grew up in the era when the law said that a man couldn't be charged with raping his wife, or when homosexuality was illegal might struggle to adjust to the modern world.
