If you're going to attack someone for saying that an activity is not socially acceptable, that can only be because you disagree with them, and disagree so strongly that you write things like this



If you are that strongly opposed to the idea that those sorts of behaviours are unacceptable, it cannot be anything other than you think they are acceptable.

If you don't think they are acceptable you wouldn't call me a party pooper, or say that I roll my eyes at anyone enjoying themselves and that I'm not normal, for saying that they aren't acceptable.

Same as me, although I kept going until the late 90s as there were still some great clubs in the southwest.

I had a little relapse in the mid/late 90’s in st. Ives. Great days

Thread 'Gable end movement'

Good morning DIYnot’rs

I’ve got a building and the gable end seems to have moved about 30mm at the corner where it joins an outhouse. A builder has suggested the window above isn’t helping and the roof pushes out on the corner and blocking up the window “not needed will help.

It makes sense to me. There’s no cracks in the internal render upstairs, no cracks in the outer pointing, just a crack next to the window were the lintel has come away a bit.

What I’m wondering is; How much historic movement is “ok” and are there any other ways to stop it moving now. It’s a commercial building...

That's OK - you can explain when you get back how attacking and abusing someone for saying "X is not acceptable" does not mean that you think it is.
