Driving in Europe

Which if these do you think represented the wishes if the electorate?
You forget that Mottie hates, hates, HATES the EU, and is quite prepared for the country to suffer immense damage for ever in order to be "free".

£10B a year in administrative costs, companies going bankrupt, people losing their jobs, their homes, these are all mere trivialities to him.

In fact - he actively wants them, to prove how "free" we now are:
Job done, we're out of Europe, he can **** off for all I care, no going back now.

The more Brexit unfolds, the more it becomes painfully obvious that it was far too complex an undertaking to allow a plebiscite, where completely uninformed, ordinary members of the public just ticked boxes.

Wow. I didn’t realise that.
Theres an uncountably long list of things you didnt realise.

That sounds like a major headache.
Its what people wanted. Its what the majority voted for in a democratic process.

Fingers crossed for you and your industry that our government gets its fingers out of its arse and sorts things out for you.
Says the man who voted for a government which will not do that because he didnt want them to do that.

You couldnt make it up.

So why did you just tick the box which just said, in utterly simplistic ignorance of the complexities, "Leave the European Union"?

There’s plenty on here that hate the U.K. I don’t see you mentioning that. Well, you wouldn’t would you, you’re one of 'em.
I dont hate the UK. What on earth makes you say that?

Any point asking you for proof of that allegation?

Or do you eschew proof, evidence, truth, as those things contradict your beliefs?

Maybe I’m thinking of your alter ego.
I dont have one.

And if you did have any interest in proof, evidence, truth, etc, you would know that.

So whatever that buzzing noise in the space between your ears is, please dont call it "thinking".

Please read my post thoroughly. Here's a hint -

But that was abundantly obvious at the time.

Nobody who knew the slightest about reality, or bothered to do the most trivial amount of checking, would not have known that.

There was never any need to wait for it to unfold to become aware that it was full of complexities.

It was abundantly obvious at the time that it had to be full of complexities - how could it possibly not have been?

It was abundantly obvious at the time that we were being sold a pack of lies.

At the time, nobody who knew the slightest about reality, or bothered to do the most trivial amount of checking, would not have known that.

Well, I truly can’t understand that - you must live in a different world to me. I have seen no empty shelves in my local supermarkets apart from when there was panic buying of bread, bog rolls, paracetamol and pasta at the beginning of the pandemic.

Mottie,
Eyes wide shut.
