Anyone on here still pay roaming charges?

Just an update in case there’s still some remoaners (un)happily paying for a mobile contract without inclusive EU roaming.

Linky Linky
Almost every one of those has a data limit/surcharge. "Brexit, worse than before, but maybe just a little bit if you shop around", lol...

Still waiting to find a mug that who would rather PAYM (Pay as you moan) instead of spending 10 or 20 seconds looking for an airtime supplier that offers inclusive roaming. There can’t be many.

mottie still can't get around the fact that nothing has improved since brexit and a lot has got worse...

It's a fact that before brexit free roaming was universal in the EU/EEA...

And that included the UK regardless of the date it was brought in!

Now it's not, and in order to get it you often have to pay more or get worse/limited usage terms...

He's just intent on digging that hole of his!

Next thing you know he'll be banging on about how the GHIC card is as good as the EHIC...

It isn't of course, because it doesn't cover as many European countries and has more limits on what it covers in some others.

No, you and Denso are banging on about EU roaming 'rights' but those 'rights' didn’t come into effect until after we decided to leave.
You brought up roaming charges. Why, if it's irrelevant to EU membership?

Decided to leave the EU, but had not left...

So we benefited for several years from universal free roaming regardless as we were still in the EU...

It's not that difficult to understand ;)

Educate yourselves on just how 'good' inclusive roaming has been in the EU and for how long.

I’ve had a mobile phone from 1985 (I still have the 'Gold' mobile number assigned to me by my airtime dealer) and had a car phone/mobile phone supply, install and connection business as a sideline for about 15 years so I’ve probably had a mobile longer that most people have and was probably one of the very first in the country to have a digital phone when they came out. I can tell you they were not cheap to use abroad and cost a fortune even to receive calls in Europe. You lot bang on like we've had inclusive EU roaming from the day they came out. We didn’t.

lol. Same three remoaners banging on about the cost but not one of them are paying for calls. An't be that difficult if they’ve switched airtime providers. :ROFLMAO:

Good grief, it's you who keeps bringing it up.
And it’s you lot that keep saying <high pitched squeaky voice> "It’s worse since Brexit, I have to think now and it takes up all my time and hurts my brain". :ROFLMAO:

So, nobody is paying then. We got there. Wasn’t too bad after all, was it?

Let it go, the EU have moved on, you are stuck in the past.

It's you that brought it up again! No one else cares.
Shut up then and just let me keep reminding people that we haven’t lost inclusive roaming by leaving the EU.

It’s now universally agreed that EU inclusive roaming is alive and well and being enjoyed by Brits abroad in the EU, including those who said it wouldn’t be happening.
