Yes I know. Fun isn't it but the numbers I quoted and comments came from the BBC and 4x would be correct if the other factors weren't applied to make it turn to 2.

The figures I found showed better survival rates but didn't account for age - as some one mentioned when I posted it. In fact it showed that they did better

Problem with using age is that CV19 is more serious as people get older so it could be down to say the 50 to 60 or any other age group. It might be being compared with none ethnic deaths in the same range. That could be down to actual body age or a number of things. Some press will pick the highest possible number. The beeb reported both one including the correction factor. The SAGE related lot want to do their own study so keep being asked what they are going to do about it especially within the NHS.

One thing that struck me was that the differences don't explain the high % of white deaths in England as there are not enough ethnic people about. Haven't checked the latest regional figure but don't think they can "catch up". There are notes on the above as well. No ethnic info for some and lots of pending cases.

They seem to be suggesting it may have something to do with how that group are not treated well within society. But equally it may just mean that group are not following the rules too well.

We used to say, if we had a splinter in our finger, or a bit of dirt in our eye, that it was a "foreign body". This expression has faded from use, due to pressure from the loony left.

We all think that the UK is just behind the US as Obese nations... We are way down the list at number 38... Most Pacific Islands are leading the list of Obesity.
I was told in Australia dealing with diabetes that the Western diet has played havoc with the Pacific islanders.
Canada, NZ and Australia are above us in that league. All have sizable indigenous people.

So my theory is diet. In Africa India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan they are still eating the local foods they have always eaten.

Another way of saying that, is that ethnicity/genetics may still be a significant factor of almost half.

But none of this is clear. It could be entirely location. Where do non-whites live and where are the hotspots?

What I say is I believe diet to be a major factor in the whys and the why nots of CV
skinny people people can still eat a bad diet.. Or a diet that effects some people More than others.

I'm emphasising Obesity and diabetes as an example.

I fear CV may effect the Southern Hemisphere as the winter kicks in.

It's not just about diet or temperature or what tribe your from... Its about the perfect storm.
