Homeserve don't fair much better but WB come out quite well.

Are you BG bashing again? Seriously dangertit, get a life they're here to stay and theres nothing that you can do about it.

didnt you know dontknownothingmouse has got OCD , he does the same thing again and again and again and then checks it again and again

Yeah he's the "one band Cowboy" thats going to bring down British Gas, Centrica be aware of the mighty power that is DANGERRAT

You sound bitter Dangermouse, I find most engineers from Bg helpful, polite and always trying to sell you a boiler wether you need one or not. Not the engineers fault... he`s a brainwashed Muppet. Targets have to be met, not by some lard boy bursting out of his unmentionables, farting around a highly polished desk, but by the soldiers grafting out in the field.

I think that deserves a round of applause..

keep up the good work ****ish gas brown nose boys, maybe you could send some snotty emails to "which?" defending your beloved employer.

Probably a fairly accurate post compared to most.

you see OCD, thats twice idiotmouse said brown nose he will go for a third soon just wait i bet he is itiching to say it

no mention of the shoddy pipework in the picture nor the fact the bloke was charged for something covered by his policy just the petty comments about dangerrat etc. Obviously you lot are so deluded you think you guys are actually really good engineers and not the frauds, conmen and clueless muppets the rest of the world says you are.

A reality check would be in order I think, your oxford colleagues should be done for manslaughter as should the M.D ffs.

"Which?" also filmed 10 engineers recently one of which was a BG guy who didn't do the job properly and has been reported to Gas safe!

Only 1 that did a pukka job was a self employed rgi and he was the most expensive (but worth it imo).

I heard about this. Have been promised an email of the article. TBH though all he didnt do was check the loft on a BBU service. 1 RGI didnt remove fire

We used to have some rogue contractors when I first started out with BG who just put their FGA in the flue and that was it :D I know plenty of people do in on RS boilers but bbus is a bit taking the pi$$

I heard of both direct and contractors doing 10-12 BBUs a day. Impossible to do all them properly in a normal day.

this is a joke surely? on many levels.

the first thing stands out is WB's score of 71%, **** me i could guarantee a score better than that if WB engs were playing on the same playing field as me and ordering parts for next day delivery rather than picking them out of the back of their ****in van.

depending on the contract held by the bloke, and its not clear at all what one he's on, he could be entitled to nothing at all or for a complete cylinder change. before the louse and all his knee jerk mates jump on the " im an ex employee who couldnt (or wouldnt) cut it" band wagon you had better find some facts first. any customer who doesnt know his T+C's or doesnt act on them needs to get a grip.

the home insurance part of the story is indeed true. most of it is covered but you try to get an insurance muppet out at late o clock with a view to stopping that river flowing through your living room......i'll bet you will be waiting longer than you will for the BG muppet to turn up, probably by days.

and that could be BG's downfall. using **** labour to do a job they cant possibly manage. a BBU is one hour, even if you clean nothing cos its spotless you will still take the guts of an hour to strip it to find that out.

BG management need shooting if they think thats progress.

Personally i think the engineers are the idiots. If everyone turned round and said no then eventually the office would stop issuing that many BBUs. BG arent going to get prosecuted if the BBU kills someone, the engineer will and BG will wash their hands of it

Don't worry about it the trackers are soon on the vans so you can take as long as you like. Screw the output money and go for full quality every month and do every job like a qae is over your shoulder. I never ever had an engineer do an asv in less than an hour during my brief spell as qae and would quite happily have backed up anyone in interview by saying so.
