Anyone worked out how much a fortnight abroad is gonna go up yet? What about duty frees?

If there is no deal doubt u will be able to go abroad into any EU country . Planes will not be allowed to land

Channel tunnel will be shut

Best bet is to buy an inflatable boat and try to get to Calais that way ???

Sure you will. But in the unlikely event of a no-deal catastrophe, you will have to request a visa and pay for permission to enter. You might have to do that even if there is a deal, like you do with some other non-EU countries already, such as USA. Like in the USA, you might be turned back under some circumstances, since you would have no automatic right of entry. Of course, you would have to stand in the "All other passports" queue.

If there is no deal.... Planes will not be allowed to land..

Well, yes, that's true, if there is no deal. The countries of the world have agreements with each other to fly over each other's territory and to land at each other's airports. if we had a government stupid enough to tear up our existing agreements and not to take out new ones, then yes, that would happen. That's what no-deal means, dummy.

apart from a few nutters, including Buffoon Johnson and Reagan Carter, do you think anyone is stupid enough to want a no-deal Brexit?

"Senior Conservatives have signalled they are not prepared to support a no-deal Brexit as they inflicted a defeat on the government in Parliament.

MPs backed an amendment to the Finance Bill, which would limit the scope for tax changes following a no deal unless authorised by MPs, by 303 to 296 votes.

Twenty Tories rebelled and, while its practical effect will be limited, Labour said it was an "important step"."

"May suffers Commons defeat on Brexit policy

Tories rebel as MPs signal opposition to UK crashing out of EU without deal"

"In a significant House of Commons defeat for prime minister Theresa May over her Brexit policy, MPs approved an amendment which restricts the government’s powers to make changes to tax law in the event of a no-deal Brexit."

"Theresa May’s cabinet on Tuesday discussed the prospect of defeat in next week’s crunch Commons vote on the prime minister’s Brexit deal, amid fears at the top of government that a last-minute EU concession will not be enough to save the day.

Mrs May said she would move quickly to set out the next steps if her withdrawal agreement with the EU is rejected by MPs next Tuesday, while senior ministers warned her not to allow Britain to drift towards a no-deal Brexit."

if you managed to survive crossing the Channel (unlikely) you would be at risk of arrest having entered Holland, France or Belgium illegally.

Some Brexers are attracted to the idea of illegal migrants being towed out to sea. It would be a fitting end for them.

Normally pantomime season ends in January...

Not anymore!

MP's effectively vote not to prepare for a no deal...

Linky

And the shipping company with no ships doesn't have a port either...

Linky Linky

It appears that the UK has moved beyond 'laughing stock' to 'basket case' status!

Well done quitters, well done! (y)
Thankyou for your good grace.

Don't you?

No wonder quitters don't understand the ramifications!

Oh, but of course people rely on crowd funding when they get into trouble abroad outside the EU nowadays!

But take a hint: look up the definition of 'third country'.

As that will be what the UK is regarded as within the EU when we leave ;)
Do you mean "third world country"? Perhaps..
Panto,,,with LAL the dame as usual...ROFL.

It's all quite odd. The only options are we leave with May's deal or we leave without it. Leaving on the 29th March is enshrined in law regardless.

BTW, what was the boss of Calais port saying today? Something like, goods and transport will be moving through the port just the same after Brexit. But he's only the actual boss, so what does he know.
