Bye Shammina ...

Perhaps Assad will take pity on her because of the UK's disgraceful treatment and grant her Syrian citizenship.

How is this relevant?
It is, and should be decided on a case by case basis, within general parameters and guide lines.

The Kurdish want the UK government to take back its criminals.
The UK Government doesn't want them back.

The UK government want to deport West Indian born criminals.
West Indian governments don't want them back

Sound very similar to me.

She's in a refugee camp with armed guards.

Lol a refugee camp with armed guards, should it not be called a prison then.

So you know she is held by Syrian Democratic Forces, so is effectively in prison. It is not a refugee camp. It is a place for criminal is supporters and fighters.

The easiest thing to do is the UK government slip the Syrian government a few Bob to detain her on terrorism charges

If she's not a criminal, how is it relevant?

fair point

could open the flood gates to all the other fruit cakes

still don’t see that she personally poses a security risk

plenty of these religious fruit cakes are legally in the UK

those two fruit cakes who went to Iran and asked for a fatwa on that salmon Rushdie nowt happend to them

As said it's more about the precedence it sets for others rather than about shemima herself. However she hasn't done herself any favours with showing little remorse.

In terms of criminality there is little evidence she actually carried out crimes, which is the same as many others, this is because no one knows what each individual person was upto out their, it's not like they kept a paper trail, or had social media, what was allowed to be broadcast was done so in a controlled manner by Isis.

So should she be tried it would be a very difficult case to prove. It's one of those where we know she done it but can't prove it.

We'll then have a criminal free to recruit and groom others from within the UK.

Call it what you like. That's its official title.

If you're going down that route, why not bribe the Bangladesh government to grant her citizenship.
A few million might work, although whether it would be cheaper than allowing her back would be questionable. But the government wouldn't lose face.

Yes, however it was made in jest and she is already being detained by Syrian democratic forces

As said, it is difficult to show remorse when you're surrounded by ex-ISIS fighters and wives.

Right. So the government have a suspicion that she is a criminal, but can't prove it, so they treat her like a criminal.
Oooeer, a slippery slope!

We'll then have a criminal free to recruit and groom others from within the UK.
As said, if a 21 year old girl who is daft enough to be radicalised into ISIS can outwit the UK security forces, and present a security risk, then the UK security forces need a shake up.

Yeah but they haven't got guns, she is in a detainment camp.

Was it not a criminal offence to travel from the UK to Syria... now I understand that she has not been convicted but how do you suppose she got there?
"Des" admitted he'd killed about fifteen men, but he still had to stand trial.
Shemima begum has been sentenced without charge, without trial, and without having an opportunity to present her case.
