Just had my renewal and its £230 more expensive than last year and ive not claimed . This really needs sorting out by this pathetic goverment as its really starting to take the p**s .
You have to claim to get your money back. I would - whiplash or no whiplash.
The insurers are in league with the crooks - instead of investigating - they all put the premiums up.

There was a set up. in Sheffield I think, a few years ago. Council 'staged' a minor bus crash and invited travellers on the bus to submit their claims.
Over 120 people put a claim in! All were prosecuted for attempted fraud as only people involved were council employees who were in on the act.
PS, my present car was valued at £300, (fully comp insurance) and guess what?? They gave me a £300 excess on my insurance. So effectively, if someone TBoned my car ( and I wasn't at fault) I'd potentially end up with no car and no insurance payout. (hope I get whiplash though or a broken arm/leg if it did happen)![]()
