census.

Yea joe, it was a joke, that's why you have said about a dozen times that you wont vote for UKIP as no one else will.

Baaaa Baaaaa.

The census is the tipping point. I believe that they will vote UKIP and they will become the third party ahead of the Libs.

Nope, your kidding yourself.

The vast majority will vote labour or conservative because it's their "team", as if political parties are football teams that must be supported if they are good or bad.

You'll talk the talk, but when the voting day looms closer and all the polls put labour as possibly winning, you'll not vote UKIP.

Baaaa Baaaa little sheep.

i love your animal impersonations do you have any more or are you a one trick pony ??? or should that be sheep :D :D

in the present system unless you want to waste your vote you have only 2 choices

But they are both pro Europe, pro immigration. UKIP will become a protest option that gets a few seats in parliament.

Nonsense

Liberal votes split the power and forced a coalition, which has forced the Tories to cut back on health reforms (now those health reforms are actually a good thing, BUT, the majority didn't vote for them as they don't want their precious NHS harmed and don't actually understand the changes).

Even though UKIP have not gained a single seat, they are influencing policy, the conservatives know they cannot simply ignore the issue or they will lose a few seats to them, enough to hurt them.

The issue isn't our current system, the issue is the voters.

The vast majority vote for the big 2, as I said, because they treat them like they treat their football teams, they "must" vote for them, what difference will changing the present system make about that issue, none.

unfortunately the liberal are now a spent party for the foreseeable future as they prostituted to many off there principals to get there place in history

I agree they are a **** party big-all, but for different reasons.

What has to be remembered is that it is a coalition, they HAD to go with the Tories, and that meant compromising on some items.

They couldn't go with labour as labour simply didn't have enough votes, they didn't have a popular mandate and the lib dems did say they would go with the "winner", they couldn't refuse a coalition as it would have been suicide to simply have a hung parliament in the midst of a "crises".

The tuition fees fiasco was a stupid mistake, and yes they should get roasted for it, but I see it as the price of a coalition, the same as the AV referendum, it's not what they wanted, but it's all they could get in a coalition, if they want a referendum on PR, then they need to do a damn site more than earn 1/5 of the votes.

I don't like the lib dems because they are not really liberal, they are a little more liberal than some, but still happy to tax and control all manner of things they don't like, and their policies are generally a little bit all over the place, with the usual "Get the rich" crap to steal the labour vote.

They also made a direct pledge to give an EU in'out referendum, then of course voted against having one, that's nothing to do with selling their principles to get in power, it's just their EU dishonesty.

They just don't seem to have many central principles, but more a mish mash of policies, that they change on a whim.

Hence the surprise that clegg is actually sticking to a principle, and one that will he will get slated for in a lot of the press.

.

Here's an example of the modern NHS V Private.. Missus has a blocked saliva gland and a few weeks ago got the "Choose and Book" letter through to see a consultant. Rang them and initially chose the Royal Derby Hospital. The person on the other end tells her "If you choose the Nuffield Hospital (private one but does NHS too) , they can get you in before Christmas, whereas your present choice is booked up until the middle of January."
Fair enough she thought, so chose the private hospital. Her appointment to see a consultant was yesterday at 5:30pm. We turned up at 5:20, signed in and sat down. And waited, and waited, and waited. After an hour and a half, she asked the receptionist when the doctor was going to see her. Sat down again. 3/4 of an hour later a nurse took us both into a side room and explained, "We've been trying to phone the consultant , since you came in, and have finally got through to him." "He was unaware that he had any consultations today and won't come in."
"If you are prepared to wait a few hours, another doctor/consultant will see you."
Needless to say we chose to go home, already having been there over 2 hrs.
OK the NHS couldn't see her until mid January, but she'd have been seen within 1/2hr of her appointment time (which wouldn't have been at silly o clock in the first place)

PS, for what it's worth, everyone waiting there to see doctors all spoke with strong English accents. The only foreign accents came from the doctors themselves)

That's the NHS subbing out the work so not the same as 'Private'. If you went 'Private' you would be unlikely to have such a problem.

The subbing out of work is a scandal waiting to be uncovered but with the public's fixation on waiting lists everybody is interested in keeping it quiet.
