Channel migrants face lifetime ban on returning to UK

There seems to be significant public support for this plan across all political groups.

It's not their fault that the government won't let them work hence why they get hand outs.

I'm not worried as much for the decent ones it's the real criminals that bother me.

No figures then? Who of, and how many of, the millions is the Government preventing from working? And why?

The statistics we need are the statistics we will never see. If the public knew who and how many are in receipt of its money intersting things might happen. These statistics should be in the news daily, rather than nonsense about Harry and Meghan, Ukraine and transvestites.

They are all working and they work harder and longer hours than you.

Notch you are now a parody, but then you always were.

One Nil to Gary

Well, it’s been an interesting couple of days. Happy that this ridiculously out of proportion story seems to be abating and very much looking forward to presenting
@BBCMOTD
on Saturday. Thanks again for all your incredible support. It’s been overwhelming

but at half time it was two : one to HMRC

Bet the brexiteer gammons will be frothing at the mouth/spluttering out their breakfast wine about the latest 'deal' done with the country the other side of La Manche that they don't trust...

£480m (so double it ;)) on a deal that could have been done within the Dublin agreement at no extra cost!

If it could have been done within the Dublin agreement then why wasn't this done when we were in the EU, they were still coming in from France, Belgium, Holland etc in the backs of lorries.

Ask the government!

it looks like the BBC has been leant on by the Conservative government and forced Lineker to "step back from MOTD"

Just goes to show what sensitive little snowflakes the right are: they can dish it but they can take it

Lineker looks totally unbothered, probably will move to Sky with an even better contract and be free to wind up the snowflakes as much as he wants :ROFLMAO:

No score draw, could be a penalty shoot out.

Gary Lineker is stepping back from his duties as Match of the Day presenter, the BBC has said in a statement.
He will not present the show until an agreement is reached on social media use, after being embroiled in a row over impartiality by comparing the language used to launch a new government asylum policy with 1930s Germany.

A BBC spokesperson said the corporation has been in "extensive discussions with Gary and his team in recent days".

"We have said that we consider his recent social media activity to be a breach of our guidelines.

"The BBC has decided that he will step back from presenting Match of the Day until we've got an agreed and clear position on his use of social media.

The statement added: "When it comes to leading our football and sports coverage, Gary is second to none. We have never said that Gary should be an opinion free zone, or that he can't have a view on issues that matter to him, but we have said that he should keep well away from taking sides on party political issues or political controversies."

How many were returned under "Dublin" 1,2 or 3?

In 2018 the inflow under the Dublin agreement was six times greater than the outflow.

Not only is Lineker right, but Wright is right to back him up...

No doubt the xenophobes/racists/right wing nutters will be celebrating...

Because they hate the idea of free speech!

I'm of course are in agreement with you, it's the snow flakes that defend these rapists murders and machete welders right to not be deported
Ahh, that bloody RWR thorn in the side - the Great British Law.

Didn't we invent it?
