I have replied on this thread because I didn't want to disrupt the other one.

I would agree that in the UK it would actually be nice to be two or three degrees warmer. It is the possible effects in the rest of the world which might be the problem. They could be anywhere from negligible to manageable to catastrophic.

that would make our winters even more unexciting tedious and boring, i would certainly welcome a few more degrees in the summer - but i want 5 less in the winter, I love hard winters
some say the gulf stream could collapse and give us a climate more suites to our latidude, more like Alaska or Siberia - I could have some of that

Unfortunately it won't be the weather that is our downfall, mass migration from idiotic countries with failing harvests will bolluxs everything up big time - think inward migration is bad now - not even the tip of the icebeg

meanwhile another scorcher here +26.5 - bike will have to wait till after 7pm again
