Climate Change

Makes up for the previous rainiest and least sunniest then - that's all
The rainfall amount of 2024 would have been considered a notably wet year if compared to much of the 19th and 20th centuries. However, last year was drier than a cluster of relatively wet years that have occurred since the late 1990s.

The plot shows how 2024 was a relatively dull year for the UK, receiving the lowest hours of bright sunshine since 1998.

So no, not the rainiest or the least sunshine on record. It was also the fourth warmest for the UK and the hottest year on record for the world. But I doubt you knew that.

You and Johnny are so stunningly ignorant it's amazing. You have no idea what you're talking about and are too lazy to even try checking your facts.

If their claims were true, by now we would be roasting and the planet would be on fire.

You are mistaken.
Nope he is not mistaken - have you dropped all of this into a memory hole - just the tip of the iceberg (pun intended)

“We don’t have time to sit on our hands as our planet burns. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, US Politician

Era of global boiling has arrived,’ says UN chief

I want you to act as if the house is on fire, because it is.” Greta Thunberg,

“The Earth is in a death spiral. It will take radical action to save us.”
George Monbiot, Journalist

You basically confirmed what I said

... Hottest year for the UK, you plank. It's right there.

You are utterly thick aren't you.
You are confusing hottest average and hottest recorded temp - like I said-
Misleading as 2025 did not have the hottest temp on record talking about the UK - which the article is doing
The highest temperature of 2025 was 35.8°C
2003, 2019, 2022 all recorded max temps hotter than 2025 --so, yes a misleading article just like all of the climate BS

See, you have awful reading comprehension. Only a moron, you in this case, would fail to understand the article that badly.

When an article is talking about the hottest year, they are talking about the entire year.

When an article is talking about the hottest year, they are talking about the entire year.
Of course but there are plenty that dont realise that or read it properly and that is part of the problem when stories like this are told onwards- its like Chinese whispers
