Covid still with us....

Can’t disagree with you there even if I’ve had all my jabs and still caught Covid. Severe headaches, severe sore throat, can’t swallow any but liquid food, severe breathing problems and that’s just for starters.



I suppose I have been a bit lucky because I haven’t lost my sense of taste or sense of smell. I can still smell the lovely meals my wife prepares and I can still taste the food. The only bad luck in this respect is that I can’t swallow any of it. Oh, and I haven’t lost my sense of humour.

At least now you have the benefit of vaccine and natural acquired immunity.


I had covid over Easter -lasted for 3 weeks, it was pretty nasty and I've been fully vaccinated

my mother in law had her 4th jab the same day the familty were all together and caught it -thankfully the MIL wasnt very ill

Jabs. In my view people are nuts if they don't take up the only option to help being infected with the dam thing. They are just saying wont happen to me. It does to some that's why there are statistics showing it does.

Yes obviously plus when having one will cause problems and I did use the words in my view. Due to age groups plenty of older people had already had theirs before I had mine. Not that I had much worry anyway as the initial studies covered a lot of side effects. None serious and related to what vaccines can cause anyway - all of them.

Clots were an early unknown risk factor. When signs of a problem were discovered they were acted on and the problem did not relate to all people. It's tricky area as people in that age group do have that crop up anyway without a jab. So a comparison of rates was made. That from what I have read about it wasn't easy. That wasn't from some odd web page. It looked more certain than say another one where a lady died the day after having a jab. Well people die anyway so the only way of looking at this sort of thing is by comparing rates. The press made a right meal of this particular lady.

Personally I will be glad when I get my 4th jab - hopefully. 2nd hand info but people tend to get more of a reaction to them at some point. Seems it may put people off but it does mean that the body really is reacting to them. My son found that ~30 year old and had that experience with his 3rd. Can't say I did but had AZ for the first ones.

Booked my Mum in for her 4th few weeks ago. They offered me a 4th as well, so I took it. After 4 jabs and Covid in mid March I'm hoping the 'Rona will just bounce off me now.
