Some of us just curse him. One thing about Mr Wif-Waf is that he keeps his word - he said "**** business!" and it looks likely he'll succeed

Discord amongst the Brexers.

It's one thing lying to the old Wail readers and pulling the rug regards funding the NHS, stopping dark coloured people from coming over, forming the easiest deals in history and saying "there will be no checks" etc.

However, you should not threaten a Brexers Christmas pud or favourite Walkers flavours. Seems like appetite for brexit is changing at the same rate as miserable old Wail readers are popping their cloggs.

I've done my weekly shopping this morning - supermarket reasonably well stocked but most notable (yet again) is the reduction in availability of meat products like beef - and where it is on the shelves there is a lot more Irish or EU produce than we used to see. Plus my shopping bill has gone up considerably over the last 12 months - but that's the pandemic, isn't it? I'd believe it were it not for the fact that I'm still in regular contact with a former colleague who now lives in the Netherlands where they don't seem to have shortages, other than in British produce (he tells me that he can't buy Blue Stilton, mature British Cheddar or Scottish crayfish for love nor money and hasn't been able to for a while)

Yep, and it is this time of year when we are quickly reminded that nothing grows in the UK in Autumn and Winter, and we need to wait til Spring for fresh UK lamb. We are very reliant on food imports. But that is why we're trying to get deals with places like Brazil - we'll be replacing fresh food from Europe with tinned food from South America. Less tasty*, bigger carbon footprint, more waste.

*Brazilian beef is actually very very tasty, but I doubt the tasty cuts will be shipped over!

Best beef I've ever had was in a barbecue restaurant in Brazil. Not only was it tasty, but there was so much of it too. I rarely order steak in the UK now as I know it will never match that. Filet mignon and baby beef, those were the best.

Asks the man with an Egli-Vincent (?) as his avatar... :notworthy: Is that yours?

Yes, it's a Rocket 3, but sadly not mine. I had a lime green jobbie with "Starship Enterprise" 3 into 2 exhausts and Ceriani 4 LS brake (the ones with air scoops at the front on both sides, so a little different). Sadly I no longer have any photos of the bike - my ex-wife burned them all when we split nearly 40 years ago (let's just say it wasn't a friendly break-up). I do still have my Venom clubbie, though that is in bits in my shed until I get round to reassembling it!

It’s a pic I took at the festival of speed if a bike being built by an Australian company who were there think they were called the Irving company or some thing
100000 dollars plus taxes if you wanted one
1600cc if I recall

I had a trident triple some years back

front brake I had a cerani twin shoe on a triton

a gremica on another bike and than I acquired the big daddy of drum brakes which I still have an
8 leading shoe drum brake built by CMA with input afaik from Dave degens of dresda
