GB News

Maybe they tried a little too hard to be 'different', but yes, disappointing presentation.
They did well to turnaround the 'cancel culture' advertisers situation, I wouldn't write them off just yet.

They cancelled themselves by the viewers boycotting the channel.

Getting people angry over nothng issues helps no one.

Never watched Fox News so can’t comment.

Last night, Michelle Dewberry, presenter, was having a right go at Boris about his levelling up speech. As guests there was Wayne Hemingway and one of the northern mayors. The guests were balanced, one a bit left wing, one a bit right. The presenter was siding with the more left view.

if you actually watch it for a while, it’s pretty balanced.

The problem is they do not inform - that takes time and production values. Bringing in guests to have a chat is just watching a debate - where the belief is that the truth lies somewhere in the middle - which is a dangerous notion.

It's like saying we need a flat earther to counteract the points of a scientists over the debate whether the earth is flat or to bring on an anti vaxxer to debate scientists.

It is dumb crap viewing and I am surprised you watch it.

Oh look, true GB News colours revealed...

"Nigel Farage is to take centre stage at GB News in a victory for the rightwing faction at the beleaguered television channel. The former leader of Ukip is to host a nightly primetime show from Monday as part of a reboot of programming designed to attract more viewers."

So much for neutrality...

But then the real target audience needs it's regular dose of indoctrination!

I think people should continue watching news that suits there own views and ignore the fact that many sources are sensationalist and aimed at people with specific views already to reinforce them. Many of them are wannabee David Frosts - no idea why the man was a too influential animal with very specific views on all sorts of things. Youtube etc makes it very easy for them.

Why - it causes a lot of trouble and hides facts. That really is good for the UK. One day, faint hope of it ever happening but they may realise that this is happening and concentrate on facts and actual end results. It might cause them to have more considered views about all sorts of things.

Maybe news should be regulated,...

Only facts are allowed and if a story or column etc is found to breach such, big fines should be given.

This doesn't stop free speech, people can still do opinionated column pieces but facts used must true.

It should also be made that Facebook , Twitter etc is held to the same rules..

How would this happen with do many foreign news channels

Brexit wouldn’t have happened if the media weren’t allowed to lie.

Buffon Johnson would have had to get an honest job.

Brexit wouldn't have happened if some people weren't so stupid as to believe the lies...

Do you know any one of those people who voted that way and now regret it?
