GB News

So much for 'balanced news' then...

GB news has fallen at the first hurdle...

No surprise there then

because there is no basis for nut jobs like you,

go and put your tin foil hat on and sit under your copper clad veranda, the CIA might be listening in...
Of course what they're aiming for is sheeple like you...

Willing to lap up anything they are told without question because they'll be leaving out all the bits that 'sensitive' sheeple don't like to hear

That's obviously down to perspective and is probably skewed by your own opinion
No, it isnt "skewed".

From what I read of the opinion pieces which generally determines what way the papers swing, the guardian is very left leaning.
Did you not read what I said about editorial & comment pieces vs reporting of events?

The Gaurdian does not lie in the latter.

It does not engage in the left-wing equivalent of class-war propaganda and rabble rousing the way that right-wing papers do.

When a court case goes in a way which they think is wrong, because they think the law is wrong or lacking, they dont shout that the judges are enemies of the people.

Nothing wrong with having a pro British/Brexit news channel to give an alternative perspective on current events.
So long as they make clear what political direction they are coming from.

"Alternative perspective" .....oh you mean lies

Daltrey made a tit of himself by being pro Brexit then complaining about the damage to the uk touring industry. It's causing havoc in the PA and lighting for bands companies, most of which use British based gear and crews. Everyone who knew the likely outcome was warning about it

Boris was interviewed on channel. Four at the G7 and was hopeless. No wonder the press officers keep him away. When it was asked about his tendency to agree to one policy then ignore it he was floundering.

Many of the advertisers on GB news have already cancelled their contracts

Tried to watch GB news earlier, and wasn't impressed.

The sound was all echoey, the presenters were far from fluid not sure who they were was about 2.30 just before the ex BBC guy and blonde lady was on.

Anyway it wasn't very good to watch, they didn't appear natural to the cameras.

It was a shame really as on paper they have the correct team of people to make a success of it, they are generally all highly experienced.

As for the content, from what I saw it was quite neutral neither this nor that really, a bit of a debate was going on about shamima begum, that was balanced and neutral. It was nice not to have people trying to shout over one another.

Will try watching it at a different time and see what the presenters are like then, and the sound issues.

Johnson reminds me some what of George Dubya ref interviews

pretty hopeless tbh

Oops...

"GB News, the television channel that launched this week with backing from pro-Brexit tycoons and a mission to produce “anti-woke” US-style news content, is facing an advertiser backlash after big consumer brands including Ikea, Nivea and Grolsch said they would pull their adverts from the network.

Fronted by a clutch of familiar names including the former BBC and Sky presenters Andrew Neil and Kirsty Gallacher, GB News, which launched on Sunday evening, is pitching itself as an alternative to the mainstream media with a focus on generating opinion and controversy, rather than original reporting."

So what were you saying sxturbo?
