No, just fluent in BS.
More TBSFL than TEFL.

It doesn't say what A level, so it could be A level in plumbing.
I know you favour ethnic cleansing,

To whom are you referring to?Though just getting them to have a good wash would be a great start.

Maybe that's the plan?No chance, most of the existing native British would be kicked out!

It's generally not those who apply for a visa, who cannot speak English, but those who come in on a dependant visa. Doesn't seem to apply to them.![]()
Migrants will be required to pass A Level standard of English
Migrants will be required to pass tough new English language requirements under a law introduced in Parliament today.www.gov.uk

Isn't it great that we can joke about ourselvesMaybe that's the plan?

That'd include my wife. Where do i sign up?No, he posted a lengthy video where somebody called for that to happen. And he then posted other videos with similar views but which were slightly less extreme. As far as I know, SPLINE himself is calling for anyone who has been in the country for less than thirty years to be deported, even if they are now British citizens.

The devil as-always is in the detail. So just to be clear. Anyone wanting to study in the UK or leverage valuable skills to work in the UK, must now speak, read and write English to a reasonable standard.

Hot air and an easy target. The devil as-always is in the detail.
The UK already has english language requirements for many Visas, as well as for settlement and citizenship, so what does this announcement mean?
does it mean that the list of accepted tests will be changed?
does it mean that people who have already passed one test will have to take a new course of study and a new test?
does it mean that the list of exemptions will be reduced or eliminated? (in particular there is currently an exception for refugees applying to settle in the UK, and also an exception for people over 65)
does it mean that degree students will be forced to take a government approved test rather than having their english skills assessed by thier university?
Or is it just hot air?
About 70% of all (non-EU) immigration to the UK is to work or study. About 90% for EU migrants. So just to be clear. Anyone wanting to study in the UK or leverage valuable skills to work in the UK, must now speak, read and write English to a reasonable standard.
Exactly how many people will be affected by this? I'm guessing not many.
