Jab Or No Jab?

This new law will create a crisis in care as so much of the system depends on the incredible work care workers do.

I know a lot of carers through having a family in the NHS, and two are currently breastfeeding. They have decided - intelligently - that they do not want to be vaccinated while they are still passing on fluids to their newborns. Because of this decision, they are now unemployed as pregnancy doesn't count as a medical exemption.

There are also those who decide not to have it for a multitude of other reasons. Once again, the reaction to Covid is proving worse than Covid itself...
Guidance on breastfeeding with regard to the vaccines:
"If you're breastfeeding
You cannot catch COVID-19 from the vaccines and cannot pass it to your baby through your breast milk.

If you're breastfeeding, the vaccines you can have depends on your age:

  • if you're 40 or over, you can have any of the COVID-19 vaccines
  • if you're under 40 and do not have a health condition that increases your risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19, it's preferable for you to have the Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna vaccine
The Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna vaccines are preferable in people under 40 because of an extremely rare blood clotting problem linked to the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine."

So they should get the vaccine.

Serves them right. They are dealing with patients everyday and need to use their common sense.
Both doses of the vaccine are widely available, are free and have been around for many months. We should consider ourselves fortunate compared to a large number of countries out there where they cannot even get hands on vaccines for their population.

I visited UAE & Qatar recently. You must have both vaccines and install an app on your phone. The app will show a green status if you are fully vaccinated. If your app does not show a green status or if you refuse to show an app, you will not be allowed entry to public places like malls, supermarkets, restaurants, airports, etc.

We need to do the same. Too much freedom in our country means too many cuckoo muppets yapping pointlessly.

Read the thread.
“eternal payment in support of these vaccine phobes”
just like the eternal payment ongoing for people who have covid or been in contact with someone with covid , jabbed or not .
read the news.

You're making things up again.

Why would anyone want to go to countries like those?
No we don't. If you want to live in a third world hellhole dictatorship, go away and live in one, there's plenty out there.

Sun ? Quality of food?
UAE and Qatar are 1st world countries. We seem to be a 3rd world country. Dictatorship?- They are monarchies.

"Fully vaccinated adults can carry the same amount of coronavirus as those who are unvaccinated, according to a new study.
Researchers from the University of Oxford found the viral load reduction can be wiped out by the Delta variant which is now dominant in the UK."

Is this the same Oxford that helped develop that 'jab' in the first place

WRONG

WRONG

WRONG

1 vaccinated people are less likely to get infected
2 vaccinated people have viral load for shorter time

ergo vaccinated people are overall much less likely to infect.

And it’s not latest research, it was published in August
