Lethal injection, if you find a vein that is!

Nice to see that we're promoting acts of fatal retribution. Guess that's the way he was thinking when he offed his victims. :confused: Thus, morally, there's little difference :?:

Why do they keep prisoners in death row for so many years (About 20 or more in this case) and then decide to kill them :confused:

If that was in the UK he would have been out years ago :rolleyes:
 
Well first of all they have to keep them alive while appeals go on. That can take a long time since someone sentenced to death is going to attempt to appeal in every way the legal system allows.

Then they have to arrange the actual execution which afaict has a lot of beuracracy involved.
 
I seem to recall it costs more to kill a man than it costs to keep them in prison for the rest of their life.

It's the years on death row that do it with the endless appeals.

Yes, it would be cheaper to keep them in prison, the death row is pointless
